This fun Woodhenge was built by local publican Charlie Newman just before the Summer solstice in June 15. It was originally only intended to be in place for a few weeks. When it proved to be a popular addition to the village, planning retrospective permission was requested and granted to allow it to stay. Personally, I think it helps to provide a bit of extra character to the area.
