Red Valerian is a flower that grows commonly along the Purbeck coast & I'm glad to have it growing commonly in my garden. Not only does it look great, with pink or white coloured flowers, but it is popular with the pollinators. Most years it is the flower of choice in my garden when a Hummingbird Hawk Moth appears. But the Bees, Butterflies and Moths all like it.
