I've started sorting some old photos from 2022 & found this Grey Wagtail by the front garden pond. The pond is only four feet from the living room window, which is good for close views of Birds using it. But being that close, it isn't possible to open the window to take photographs without scaring the subject. I'm quite pleased at the results considering they are taken through the glass.
Grey Wagtails are annual over the house with a few records every year. But I've only seen them around the garden ponds on three or four occasions in twenty six years.
